DATA COLLECTION, BEHAVIOR CHANGE COMMUNICATION AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Contribute to development and implementation of the community health clinic activity
Work with the health and software development team to guide them in relevant healthcare context
Plan, conduct and report health needs assessment in the community, taking guidance from the line manager.
Provide strong leadership, working to ensure both short and long-term positive impacts and outcomes
Set clear objectives and indicators for BCC & Marketing for healthcare activities, especially of data collection, MIS i.e. data quality assurance (DQA) and supervise quality assurance aspect of clinic building construction.
Continuously monitor and supervise community data collection, data validation and clinic building construction activities, evaluating progress through outputs and impacts using both quantitative and qualitative data, and involving the project team in analysis and taking appropriate action as needed to ensure continued progress.
Meet the project objectives within budget and within the allotted time frame, and report promptly any operational concerns to line manager.
Develop BCC and Marketing strategy for the PHC clinic.
Provide input into the integration of beneficiary participation in all aspects of the project.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of activities.
It is necessary to line manage data collector/Community Health Worker and other project staff and to liaise closely with logistics staff
Facilitate regular meetings to assist information sharing between project staff.
Provide coaching/ technical supervision to staff in order to develop ownership and full responsibility.
Assess the training needs of health staff and ensure that appropriate training is conducted.
Create and manage the health care budget for the assigned project(s) and ensure all expenses are according to budget.
COMMUNICATION AND COORDINATION
Develop communication structures with the objective of ensuring good cooperation and partnerships especially with outsourced construction company.
Actively participate in project coordination meetings and other working group meetings, representing and feeding back to the staff and line manager on relevant issues.
Support the logistics activities particularly in relation to the data collection tool, prescription pad, drug stock register, purchasing of relevant materials, medicines, lab reagent, supplies and equipment for the assigned health activities.
Ensure health project is implemented in line with international standards.
2 years of post-qualification professional experience
At least 1 year management experience in a health context and/or a project
Candidate from greater Chattogram region or knowing Chittagonian dialect is a must.
Good numerical, report writing and administration skills. Problem solving ability.
Knowledge and experience of data collection, Management Information System and construction supervision and management.
Able to take the initiative, enforce procedures, set clear objectives and delegate.
Strong working knowledge of Bangla and English (both spoken and written)
